Wizz Air to offer weekly flights from Budapest
Hungarian Low-cost carrier, Wizz Air, will offer weekly flights connecting Fuerteventura and Budapest for the winter 2016-2017 season. The budget airline will receive €160,000 from the Canarian Flight Development Fund to launch the route which is expected to attract at least 10,000 visitors to the island. The number of flights connecting Europe with Fuerteventura continues to grow, with the Tourist Board recently announcing that there will be 500,000 seats on German flights to the island this summer.

Free WiFi for Public Spaces in La Oliva
The Ayuntamiento de Oliva have signed an agreement with Prior Game SL (a provider of Hotel WiFi, Rural Wifi and Slot Machines) to provide free public internet access at the plaza de la Iglesia, in La Oliva and the plaza Patricio Calero and parque Hermanas de la Caridad in Corralejo. In return, the Ayuntamiento will grant the company permission to install receivers in three municipal football grounds.

Antigua Coastal Clean-up
There will be an organised clean-up of the beaches and coastline of Antigua tomorrow (Saturday 12th of March). Volunteers interested in taking part should meet at the Centro Cultural in Caleta de Fuste where gloves and bags will be distributed.
