Iberostar Selection Fuerteventura Palace, Jandia
The Iberostar Selection Fuerteventura Palace is located a short walk from the main Jandia strip, overlooks and has direct access to the superb Playa del Matorral beach and the protected natural salt marshes that run parallel with this 4km stretch of sand. Receiving rave reviews and many return guests, it is rated as one of the best resorts in the south of the island. As part of a larger complex of three adjacent Iberostar hotels, some of the facilities at the sister hotels are also available to guests of the Iberostar Fuerteventura Palace. The fresh and healthy food options are superb, with plenty of fresh fruit, juices, salads and fish – options that aren’t always available at All-Inclusive resorts. We recommend that you book a ‘sharing pool double’ room, with terrace that leads directly to the swimming pool!
Alua Suites Fuerteventura, Corralejo
With 7 swimming pools, 3 tennis courts, 4 restaurants, 5 bars as well as kids’ and teens’ clubs, the Alua Suites Fuerteventura has plenty to keep the whole family entertained during their holiday. The Premium Club offers quieter adults-only accommodation, along with adults-only breakfasts and evening meals, plus an adults-only swimming pool. Evenings are lively with a theatre area that hosts mini-discos and regular shows by the Hotel’s animation team. Located at the South-eastern end of Corralejo, the Hotel is just 3 minutes’ walk from the beach and a short taxi ride away from the centre of Corralejo town or the 10km-long Corralejo Dunes Natural Park.
Barceló Castillo Royal Level, Caleta de Fuste
Just 10 minutes’ drive from the airport in Caleta de Fuste, the Barceló Castillo Royal Level is the first Barceló hotel to offer its Royal Level service to families. The 4 star R2 Pajara hotel, located in Costa Calma, is set in-between the Esmeralda and Costa Calma beaches. Favoured by older guests and couples, the hotel’s feel is one of quiet and calm – perfect for a relaxing holiday. Large terraces and gardens surround the three freshwater swimming pools, one of which is heated. If you want a bit more activity, there are tennis courts, a gym and local access to superb kite and windsurfing centres. Along with the nightly buffet, you can also choose al-la-carte restaurant (which is open two nights a week), and either the Lobby or Piano Bar for drinks. This is a great hotel for a chilled-out beach and sunbathing holiday and a great jumping off point to explore the south of the island.
