The bus tour as it passes through La Geria – Lanzarote’s wine growing area.

This 8 hour day-trip takes you to Fuerteventura’s neighbouring island of Lanzarote. Although separated from Fuerteventura by just 11km, the two islands are markedly different. Famed for its striking black volcanic landscape dotted with white-washed houses, Lanzarote is well worth a visit during your stay on Fuerteventura.

This trip will take you across the Bocaina strait from Corralejo by ferry to Playa Blanca on Lanzarote’s South Coast. From there, the tour heads to the Los Hervideros blow holes – located where a huge lava flow met the sea. Next, you will visit other-worldly green lagoon at El Golfo.

You will then drive towards Yaiza and through the stunning Timanfaya National Park, stopping at the visitor centre. Next, you will continue towards Famara, the white-washed Ermita de las Nieves chapel near Teguise and then to the famous valley of 1000 palms at Haria in the north of Lanzarote.

Finally, on the way back, you will stop for cheese and wine tasting at one of Lanzarote’s famous bodegas.
