A pre-booked Airport Transfer offers huge savings compared to using a regular Taxi, especially for single travellers and couples, and offers peace of mind when arriving or leaving on an early or late flight. You also have the convenience of a direct route to your hotel without having to change buses at Puerto del Rosario.

Sample Prices
Airport – Corralejo: €7.15 (compared to €50-€60 in a Taxi)
Airport – Morro Jable: €14.95 (€130 – €140 by Taxi)
Airport – Caleta de Fuste: €4.55 (€10 – €12 by taxi).

Please note that the transfer companies are only allowed to drop you off and pick you up at licenced hotels or apartments, so if you are staying at a private villa or apartment, you will need to select the nearest hotel or tourist complex as your pick-up/drop-off point. Note also that transfers cannot be purchased at the airport and must be pre-booked.

Update 21/04/2023: At present due to increased demand, transfers must be booked at least 2 days in advance.

Hello, can i get a shuttle transfer to oasis duna apartments which is near aqua water park in Corralejo at 18.30 next week or does the shuttle only stop at hotels. I am travelling solo so would need to know in advance.

    Many thanks

Hi, Yes, you can get a shuttle to Oasis Dunas Apartments – that’s a tourist complex, so it’s classified as a ‘hotel’.

I want to get from airport to Vista Mar, Gran Tarajal on evening of 9th March and back afternoon of 16th. Can anyone suggest cheapest way of doing this please?

    • administrator

You could get the number 10 bus from Puerto del Rosario to Gran Tarajal: https://tiadhe.com/linea-10/
If the times of the buses do not coincide with your flights, then you could book a transfer to the Las Playitas Hotel (about 3km from Gran Tarajal) and get a taxi or number 12 bus from there to Gran Tarajal.

Hi, As I cannot book a transfer now on 1st Nov, does it mean there is no option to buy it when I arrive?

    • administrator

Unfortunately due to the increased demand, transfers currently need to be booked 5 days in advance, you will need to use a taxi/public bus, as there is no way to buy a ticket for the transfers upon arrival.

    Dear Clerk,
    please help with the transfer.
After a full day of travel with our 10-year-old girl, our plane will arrive at 7:30 p.m. on January 15 and we want to get to the hotel as quickly and conveniently as possible.
We have read that a “pre-booked transfer” costs EUR 15 per person. How to register for this?

Please write in the reply letter what possibilities we have to get to the hotel!

    Hotel: Fuerteventura Princess

Thanks in advance for your help,
    Tamás Vereckei

Do you know how long a bus transfer is from airports to Occidental Jardia Mar please?

    • administrator

It depends on how many hotels the bus stops at, but Jandia Mar is near the end of the route, so I would guess about 2 hours (it takes 1.5 hours driving directly from the airport by car).

  7. Carole

Hi. Where on airport arrival is bus stop in relation to where taxis are. If i was to book pre airport transfer approximately how much time would be before flight departs. Would transfer bus stop by fado rock (im staying apartment close to there). Thanks in advance

    • administrator

Hi, The regular public bus stop is just outside the terminal (about half way along). The transfer stop is at the end of arrivals (turn right when you come out from baggage reclaim). The transfer will get you to the airport at least 2 hours before departure.
To book a transfer, you would need to choose a hotel close to your accommodation.

    Hello,

We would like to get a shuttle to El Cotillo in December (Sunday). We land about 11am. How long would we need to wait at the airport after arriving please?

    Many thanks

    • administrator

Hi, It’s difficult to say, since the wait time depends on the number of other passengers going to El Cotillo around the same time. However, I would imagine, since El Cotillo is a small resort, that there won’t be too many others, and you won’t have to wait long.

I need to get from the airport to my hotel in Costa Calma on Wednesday early afternoon. What is the best way to get there?

    • administrator

Hi, A number 10 bus calls at the airport at around 14:15, and the next one is at about 16:15. Otherwise, you should book a transfer.

Hello, we arrive at the airport on 02/02/24 at 17h05 and we have to get to the RIU Oliva Beach Resort. Is it possible to take a public bus or is it needed to book a transfer?

    • administrator

Hi, There is no direct public bus, however, you could get the no.3 bus to Puerto del Rosario bus station, and then the no.6 bus from there to RIU Oliva Beach.

Hello we are a group of 4 adults staying in a villa in Geafond in March. Are we able to book a shuttle bus transfer to Oasis Tamarindo (I think that is the nearest holiday apartments to the villa we have booked). Thank you

    • administrator

Hi, Yes, that’s what you should do – book the transfer to the nearest listed hotel.

Hi, I arrive at the airport at 16:40 on February the 6th and would like to know the least expensive way to get from the airport to Costa Calma? I understand there is a bus but I’m not sure what time the last bus departs at.

    Thanks.

    • administrator

The next no.10 bus leaves Puerto del Rosario at 18:00 (it arrives at the airport about at about 18:15). The last bus is at 20:30. If you don’t want to wait, then a transfer is next cheapest option.

How much does a taxi cost from the airport to Costa Calma for two people at around midday?

  16. Mette Margrethe Storgaard

We are 2 couples (4 people) arriving at Fuerteventura airport on Tuesday 14 May at 11 a.m. What is the cheapest way to get to Playitas Resort? Is it cheapest to book a taxi in advance or is it just as cheap to take a taxi from the airport and if so – how much does it cost?

    Sincerely
    Mette Storgaard

    • administrator

Hi, The cheapest way is a shared transfer (which will most likely only be for your group, since Las Playitas is very far from any other hotels). Otherwise, a Taxi should cost about the same whether pre-booked or not. The only thing to be aware of with a taxi is whether all of your luggage will fit or not.

    Hi

We are a couple arriving in at 17.50 on the 18th December and staying in a private apartment address is Calle Jable, 1, Corralejo. Was thinking of booking the transfer bus. Can you tell me if our flight is delayed will the bus wait for us or if it’s not how long will it wait for us to get out of the airport? and would it drop of us off near our apartment?

    Thanks

    • administrator

Hi, Yes, the transfer will wait for you. The transfer will not drop you off at a private address, so you will need to choose the nearest hotel or aparthotel to your accommodation (Apartamentos Dunas Club in your case).

  20. Caz

Please could you tell me the cost per person for a transfer from the airport to Morro Janel on a Sunday evening in November
