Sky-live.tv will be broadcasting live coverage of tonight’s sunset and the total eclipse of the moon from the Canary Islands’ three starlight reserves: Fuerteventura, Tenerife and La Palma. This lunar eclipse (or Blood Moon) is particularly special because it coincides with a supermoon: when the moon is at perigee, or closest distance to the earth. These two events have no coincided for 30 years and will not happen again until 2033.
Coverage of the sunset will begin at 19:30 GMT, with coverage of the Lunar Eclipse to begin at 02.00 GMT on Monday Morning (28th of September 2015).
